The Cape May County Veterans’ Bureau will hold its annual Memorial Day Service at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 31, 2010 at the Cape May County Veterans Cemetery.
Speakers will include State Senator Jeff Van Drew, Freeholder Gerald Thornton, Freeholder Ralph E. Bakley, Sr., Vincent DePrinzio, District Director, Vietnam Veterans of America NJ State Council and Joseph Orlando, Commander, Cape May County Veterans of Foreign Wars District 17.
The United States Coast Guard will provide the ceremonial detail and representatives from Cape May County Veterans’ organizations will participate in the program that honors our fallen veterans. Additionally, the National Anthem will be sung by Mark Huff a Cape May County employee and the Invocation and Benediction will be delivered by Reverend Dr. Jeffrey W. Elliott, Pastor of the Cape May Lutheran Church.
