CAPE MAY COUNTY TO INTRODUCE HALF CENT INCREASE TO BUDGET

Budget deliberations have set Cape May County up for a half cent increase to the Cape May County budget. Freeholder Director Gerry Thornton says that increase will be under the two percent cap. Thornton noted that there were more decreases in ratables, but not as much as in previous years. The budget is expected to be introduced next week.
