CAPE MAY COUNTY LOST ABOUT 500 YEAR ROUND RESIDENTS LAST YEAR

Cape May County continues to lose people in the latest census data. New information released this week shows the county lost about 500 people from 2013 to 2014. The new estimate puts the county at 95,344 overall. Atlantic County lost 958 people year to year and comes in at 275,209. Meanwhile, Cumberland County added 236 people and has a population of 157,389. Lawmakers have been working on economic development initiatives to help Cape May County as it continues to have a drop in population every year.
