CAPE MAY COUNTY JAIL BID COMES IN OVER BUDGET

Bids to construct a new Cape May County Jail came in way over bid. The proposal was $7 million too high and the county is going back to the drawing board. Sheriff Gary Schaffer told Coastal Broadcasting that they are working on to do more with less with the architect and then go back out to bid in a couple of months and see what can be done.
