CAPE MAY COUNTY HOLDS NINTH ANNUAL ROADEO

Cape May County Fare Free drivers competed in the rain Tuesday morning, in their ninth annual “Roadeo”. The event was held at the Cape May County Airport and tested Fare Free drivers in their everyday activities, including Vehicle Pre-trip, Wheelchair Securement and an Obstacle Course. Diane Hufana, of Lower Township, won the day’s competition with 921 points, followed by: Mae Pacifico-Anderson, of Del Haven, with 842; Brian Fitzpatrick, of Villas, with 820 points; and Russ Wuest, of Dennisville, with 809, based on a perfect score of 1,000 points. The top three drivers will advance to compete in the state finals on May 2nd at Great Adventure in Jackson Township.
