Cape May County experienced the third-fewest traffic fatalities of any county in the state last year. New statistics released by the state show 11 traffic fatalities in Cape May County in 2012, which is the third lowest total in the state, ahead of only Salem and Hunterdon counties. Middlesex County led the state with 54 traffic fatalities.
