Cape May County freeholders have issued their strongest statement to date regarding second homeowners avoiding common sense and healthy practice by visiting their seashore homes. Freeholder Director Gerald Thornton says he has researched all options to close the borders of the County, but that authority can only come from the state level. Thornton says that tourism attractions are closed until further notice, and this type of travel does not respect nor comply with the County or state directives.
