An event will be held Thursday morning to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Cape May County Fare Free transportation. Freeholder Marie Hayes and staff members will hold the celebration tomorrow inside the lobby of the county’s administration building at Crest Haven. Fare Free transportation was the first transportation service of its kind ever offered in the Garden State.
