CAPE MAY COUNTY DEDICATES NEW 9/11 MEMORIAL

Cape May County remembered 9/11 during a special memorial held on Wednesday. The county dedicated a 9-11 Memorial consisting of artifacts from the September 11, 2001 attack on the Pentagon Building, steel from the World Trade Center and a rock from the Flight 93 National Memorial Site. Freeholder Director Gerry Thornton said Cape May County was the only county in the state to have an artifact from all three sites.
