CAPE MAY COUNCIL TO AWARD BEACHFRONT PROPERTY LEASE

Cape May City Council’s agenda is light for Monday, but does have an item of note. Council is going to vote to approve a bid for lease on 702 Beach Ave. This is the former Henry’s on the Beach location. The former business folded after 13 years, saying it cost too much to do business there and “We have tried to negotiate with the city for a reduction in rent because of convention hall being closed for 3 years but that didn’t work out,” according to their website.
