CAPE MAY BEACH PATROL MEMBER CRITICALLY INJURED IN ACCIDENT

A 16 year old member of the Cape May Beach Patrol was critically injured during an accident involving a lifeguard boat on Thursday.  Officials say the teenager experienced significant injuries when the boat he was paddling overturned in the surf.  The teen was airlifted to Cooper Hospital after being taken to a local medical center.  The victim is a first year lifeguard for the city.
