A small beach fill project in the city of Cape May could begin today or tomorrow. Mayor Ed Mahaney says the federal government is picking up the entire tab for the beach fill which will result in nearly 50,000 cubic yards of sand to be placed from Brooklyn Avenue to the Cape May Beach Club. This follows a much larger beach fill that was conducted at the Coast Guard Training Center in Cape May.
