A minor beach replenishment project is coming to the greater Cape May area this fall and winter. The United States Army Corps of Engineers announced that a contract has been awarded to the Yannuzzi Group of New Jersey to place sand at Cove Beach in Cape May and St. Pete’s Beach in Cape May Point. Lower beach elevations will be restored.
