The Cape May County Republican Committee will gather tonight in Avalon to endorse a slate of candidates for this year’s elections. The committee is expected to back a slate of candidates that includes Congressman Jeff Van Drew, Sheriff Bob Nolan, and freeholders Jeff Pierson and Will Morey. Members will have to select a candidate from a field of relative unknowns to run for United States Senate.
