Candidates must make their intentions known. The filing deadline for the primary election is on Monday. Republicans David DeWeese, Suzanne Walters, and Sam Fiocchi will file their papers with the intention to take on State Senator Jeff Van Drew, Assemblymen Nelson Albano and Matt Milam this November.
The other big story to follow is what will take place in Middle Township. Deputy Mayor Nate Doughty is waiting till Monday to make his intentions known whether he will run again. Tim Donohue will likely be the Republican candidate he would face.
