CANCER BENEFIT SUNDAY IN MARGATE

On Sunday over 200 people participated in the tenth annual “Patti McWalk”, which began at Lucy the Elephant in Margate City. Participants walked along the beach from Lucy to the Margate Fishing Pier and back. The fundraiser has raised more than $100,000 for the South Jersey Cancer Fund over the past ten years, according to Patti’s brother Bob McDonnell. He started the event in memory of his sister who died of cancer at the age of 43.
