This is the week. Canadians are coming down to Cape May County this week and will be in town for the next four weeks. Cape May County Tourism Director Diane Wieland told Coastal Broadcasting that the high season for Canadian visitors is taking place now during the construction holiday up there. Wieland pointed out that the positives of Canadian tourists is that they tend to have longer trips and will spend more money on their trip. A strong marketing effort has been made in Canada by the tourism department of Cape May County.
