CANADIAN PREMIER VISITS CHRISTIE, TALKS PIPELINE PROJECT

A leader from Canada stopped by the statehouse on Thursday for a visit with Gov. Chris Christie. Alberta Premier Jim Prentice visited with Christie as he tours the country in promoting the Keystone Pipeline project. While the pipeline would not go near New Jersey, Christie has been a supporter of the project and has been critical of President Barack Obama’s position against it moving forward.
