CAMDEN LOOKING TO LAYOFF ENTIRE POLICE DEPARTMENT

A city will a crime problem may be without its own police force. Camden Mayor Dana Redd said it is laying off every police officer in order to create a county police force. Camden had a staffing issue with its force and was looking for a more fiscally stable way to keep a police force. Layoff notices could be handed out by the end of the year.
