The name Beach Ball Boulevard has bounced into the sunset, never to be seen again. Wildwood Mayor Pete Byron announced that city officials have done a 180 and will not name a section of Rio Grande Avenue in Wildwood “Beach Ball Boulevard”. Byron says he’s received plenty of negative feedback about the name, so the name will remain the same.
