Tuesday is the day the new owners officially take over Resorts Casino in Atlantic City. Customers will not notice any differences in the daily operations of the casino, as the name will remain and there will be no ceremony to acknowledge the new owners, Dennis Gomes and Morris Bailey. The two men purchased the casino from a group of lenders for $31.5 million. All Resorts employees were laid off on Monday. Most will be re-hired on Tuesday, but may see a reduction in pay or benefits.
