BUS AND JITNEY SHELTERS IN A.C. TO GET LIT UP

Officials for the Atlantic City Casino Reinvestment Development Authority have announced plans to brighten up the city’s bus and jitney shelters. Proposals to add electric and install lighting to 50 shelters throughout the city are due back on March 26th and the work should be completed two months after a bid is awarded. The authority says that the improved fluorescent lighting is intended to improve security for passengers of buses and jitneys in Atlantic City.
