BURNS TO RESIGN FROM AVALON BOROUGH COUNCIL AT THE END OF THE YEAR

The Avalon Borough Council will have a vacant seat to start the new year.  Councilman William Burns announced that he is resigning from Council effective December 31st.  Burns cites an increased professional workload for his reason to leave Council after 17 months.  Council may fill the position or leave it vacant before the May 9th municipal election.
