BURGLARY AND THEFT SUSPECT ARRESTED

Cape May Police say they took in a suspect on Saturday for burglary, theft, and criminal mischief. Vincent T. Kotelnicki, age 22, of Villas, was taken in by authorities. Police responded to a call at 6:47AM on Saturday from an Elmira Street restaurant of a Burglary in progress. The caller reported that while opening and entering the business she discovered a person within the premises who then fled by way of the rear door, leaving behind an article of clothing. Initial investigation revealed a damaged window and stolen cash. Kotelnicki was discovered a short time later on the Washington Street Mall and arrested.
