BURGLARY SUSPECT ARRESTED IN LOWER TOWNSHIP

Lower Township Police responded to a report of a burglary last Tuesday morning at a home on Englewood Road in North Cape May. Officers were quick to identify the perpetrator as 21 year-old Jonathan Vandoren, an employed dishwasher who lives on Adriatic Avenue in North Cape May. Vandoren was later taken into custody without incident and found to be in possession of a hypodermic syringe used to ingest a Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS). Vandoren was charged with multiple offenses relating to the burglary and CDS possession. Bail was set in the amount of $15,000 full cash and Vandoren was lodged in the Cape May County Jail.
