On Sunday at about 7 p.m. Lower Township Police received a call from an alert citizen who reported 3 juveniles attempting to make entry into a vacant summer residence on Hollywood Avenue in Villas. When police arrived they found a burglary had occurred and the house was damaged in the process. After searching the area, police found three juveniles ages 15, 12 and 9 hiding in a nearby shed. They had allegedly taken property from the house and were in possession of marijuana. All three youths were released to their parents with juvenile complaints pending review by the Cape May County Prosecutors Office for Burglary, Theft, Criminal Mischief and Possession of a CDS.
