Lower Township Police say a bullet struck a home in the Tranquility section of the township. Police were called to the scene on Dec. 2. It is believed to come from rifle fire from the area of Oreo’s Pit. Police say it traveled across the Cape May Canal. Additional patrols have been posted to help combat any illegal activity.
