On Monday a Buena woman pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide in an accident that occurred on July 30th. Mary Pappas, 44, ran a stop sign at Chesnut Avenue and New Panther Road in Vineland and struck a vehicle driven by 59 year-old Joann Guzzi of Vineland. Guzzi was killed in the collision and Pappas was allegedly driving with a blood-alcohol level above .15 percent. Pappas will be sentenced to 5 years in prison on the charges.
