BUDGET PROJECTION IN ATLANTIC COUNTY WOULD SEE TAX DECREASE

Initial budget numbers for Atlantic County could see county taxes come down from last year. County Executive Dennis Levinson presented his budget message to the freeholders that would cut the tax rate by just under two cents over the previous year. This is just the initial budget message and can be changed by the freeholder board before its budget introduction and eventually the final passage.
