BRYON FILES SUIT IN SUPERIOR COURT, SEEKS DEPARTMENTS BACK

The split in the Wildwood City Commission has deepened now that Commissioner Pete Byron has filed suit in Superior Court, asking for his departments back in municipal government.  Byron announced via press release that his departmental responsibilities were stripped over politics, especially because he opposed the new budget that increased the local purpose tax rate by ten cents.  He calls the tax hike a quote “scandalous increase”.
