The Township of Hamilton Police Department responded to the Weymouth Area of the township for a report of a brush fire on Monday afternoon. Investigation revealed approximately 27.5 acres had been burned. Several agencies responded to assist with the fire including the NJ Forest Fire Service, The Weymouth Fire Department, The Mays Landing Fire Department, The Mizpah Fire Department, The Collings Lakes Fire Department, The Newtonville Fire Department and the Township of Hamilton Rescue Squad. The fire is currently under investigation.
