Four persons were issued summons Tuesday night for walking in traffic along Route 49 during a protest march from the scene of a police-involved shooting Dec. 30th last year at the intersection of South and Henry Sts. to the municipal building on Fayette St. According to police, none of the four were Bridgeton residents. Capt. Michael Gaimari said that he personally advised the group’s organizer, identified as Hudson, prior to the march of the statutory requirement to remain on the sidewalks during the planned march especially along Route 49 due to the heavy volume of rush hour traffic.
