BRIDGETON MAN INDICTED IN ROOMMATE’S DEATH

An indictment has been handed down in a Bridgeton man’s death. Virgilio Estaban Gomez was the roommate of Joel Prospero-Manuel and is alleged to have killed him. Authorities say that Prospero-Manuel was killed with a kitchen knife. Bail remains at $1 million for Gomez. He faces both murder and weapons possession charges.
