BRIDGETON MAN GIVEN 40 YEARS IN JAIL FOR DRUG CHARGES

Sentencing took place for a Bridgeton man on multiple gun and weapon charges. Robert Evans was sentenced to 40 years in jail with a 20 year period of parole ineligibility. Evans was found guilty on cocaine, heroin, and weapon charges. The case developed out of a traffic stop on Jan. 4, 2012, and Vineland Police discovered Evans had an active warrant out for his arrest.
