On Monday a Bridgeton man was arrested in connection with the alleged attempted murder of two people in Millville last month. The Millville Police Department said that Leonard A. Fortune, 28, allegedly shot at two men near Arnold and Dock Streets around 1:30 p.m. Jan. 13. The gunfire missed both men but Fortune was taken to a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the hand. Fortune is charged with two counts of criminal attempted homicide and multiple weapons charges. He is in the Cumberland County Jail on $300,000 bail.
