BRIDGETON HOLDS OUT FROM MOVING SCHOOL ELECTION DATE

Most local communities have taken advantage of moving their school board election dates. That is except Bridgeton. The school board has decided not to move its election date and now is the only district in Cumberland County not to make the move. The state allowed the change because it will save money and bring higher turnout. Bridgeton’s council can act to move the election date, but is not ready at this time to make the move.
