Governor Phil Murphy has ordered everyone in New Jersey to stay home. During an address Saturday afternoon, Murphy closed all non essential retail outlets as of 9pm on Saturday. Those that can remain open include grocery and food stores, convenience stores, medical marijuana facilities, medical supply stores and pharmacies, gas stations, auto mechanics, banks and financial institutions, hardware stores, laundromats, printing and office supply shops, pet stores, stores that sell supplies for young children, and mail and delivery shops. Restaurants and bars with take out can remain open, everything else must close. Work at construction sites may continue, as well as manufacturing and trucking operations. Murphy has ordered all other businesses to close, or work from home.
