A labor strike has been averted at three of the five casinos that may have faced an employee walkout tomorrow. Strikes will not occur at Bally’s, Caesars, or Harrahs casinos in Atlantic City. As of early Thursday afternoon, strikes are still possible at two other Atlantic City casinos, the Tropicana and the Taj Mahal. Union members want better wages and some benefits returned that were taken away during the downturn of the gaming industry.
