BOOKER’S LEAD DIPPING IN THE POLLS IN U.S. SENATE ELECTION

It may not be a blow out of Newark Mayor Cory Booker after all. A new Quinnipiac University poll says that the lead that Booker has over challenger Steve Lonegan is only 12 points. Other polls have shown a bigger lead for the high profile mayor, but the numbers have tightened ahead of the Oct. 16 election. The winner gets the seat previously held by the late Frank Lautenberg.
