BOOKER STILL AHEAD OF LONEGAN BY DOUBLE DIGITS

New polling data shows nothing has changed in the special U.S. Senate election. Newark Mayor Cory Booker leads Steve Lonegan by 12 points in the latest Quinnipiac University poll. The lead is 53-41 percent, which is the same margin as the last poll done by the organization. The election is for the seat formerly held by the late Frank Lautenberg. While it isn’t a blowout, Booker has retained a comfortable lead.
