GOP challenger Steve Lonegan has raised some dough, but still remains behind the eight ball to Newark Mayor Cory Booker. The two are facing off the in special U.S. Senate election. Lonegan has raised about $1 million in the past two months, according to a report by the Star-Ledger. Based on public filings, Booker had raised over $8.5 million two months ago, and while he hasn’t released new numbers, he still has much more in his war chest versus Lonegan.
