The race for the U.S. Senate seat remains relatively close. U.S. Senator Cory Booker had a 13 point lead over Republican Jeff Bell, despite holding an overwhelming money and celebrity lead. The new Fairleigh Dickinson University PublicMind poll has Booker at 42 percent and Bell at 29 percent. There remains 27 percent of voters undecided as well. One of the biggest factors being noted for Booker’s struggles in the disapproval of President Barack Obama. The president is at 36 percent approval compared to 49 percent disapproval.
