BOOKER HOLDS BIG LEAD OVER LAUTENBERG IN POLL

A new poll says if Newark Mayor Cory Booker wants to be a U.S. Senator, he certainly has the people’s support. A poll by Fairleigh Dickinson University says that Booker has a 22 percent lead over U.S. Senator Frank Lautenberg. Booker hinted he might be interested in running in 2014 for Lautenberg’s seat. Lautenberg has yet to say whether he is interested in running for reelection. Booker could choose to run against Lautenberg in the Democratic primary if Lautenberg runs for reelection.
