BOOKER AND LONEGAN FACE OFF IN FINAL DEBATE

One day after the gubernatorial debate, the U.S. Senate candidates went at it Wednesday night. Newark Mayor Cory Booker and Steve Lonegan faced off ahead of the Oct. 16 election. The campaign has gotten heated as Lonegan has closed in the polls. Lonegan has attacked Booker’s policies in Newark, while Booker has painted Lonegan as a tea party extremist. The debate was held at Rowan University.
