BODY POSITIVELY IDENTIFIED AS MISSING SWIMMER

Authorities have confirmed that a body floating near Longport last week was that of a teenager who was reported missing off the beaches of Ocean City.  The Southern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office announce that the body found on July 3rd was that of Corinithian Hammond who was reported missing off the beaches of Ocean City four days earlier.  A boater discovered the body and Hammond was recovered by the United States Coast Guard and New Jersey State Marine Police.
