Over 400 motorcycle enthusiasts rode from West Collingswood, N.J. to Somers Point on Sunday to call attention to distracted driving. The 4th annual Motorcycle Run to Stop Distracted Driving was organized by the Toni Donato-Bolis and Baby RJ Foundation to honor the memory of 28 year-old Bolis and her unborn son, who were killed by a distracted driver on his cell phone who crossed the center lane and caused a head-on collision. New Jersey recently passed a law with Bolis’ name attached which gives prosecutors additional authority in cases of death by vehicular homicide, while the driver is using a cell phone or other electronic device.
