BIKE TRAIL CONNECTOR BEING DISCUSSED IN MIDDLE AND LOWER TOWNSHIPS

Lower and Middle Township are working on a joint bicycle trail project. Lower Township’s portion of the bike path currently ends at Sally Marshall Crossing/Cresse Lane in Erma. Middle Township’s portion of the trail ends at Indian Trail Road. The two townships hope to have a bike trail that connects the two towns and perhaps link it with Delaware. Future spurs from the bike trail in Cape May County could include the county airport and the former Fort Apache in Middle Township.
