BIKE PATH BEING DISCUSSED TO CONNECT CAPE MAY AND ATLANTIC COUNTIES

How about a bike path from Upper Township to Atlantic County? The state is considering making that happen. Upper Township Mayor Richard Palumbo told Coastal Broadcasting that the Turnpike Authority is looking to make the ramp happen, during the construction of a new southbound Parkway bridge heading into Cape May County. Access has been limited to Atlantic County since the closing of the Beesley’s Point Bridge. A public meeting is being held on Thursday in Upper Township from 3 to 6 p.m.
