Wildwood voters will head to the polls on May 10th to not only pick three candidates for the city commission, but they will also decide on a restructuring of the city’s police department. City officials confirmed this week that they will have two public questions on the municipal ballot in the May election. One deals with the recommended restructuring of the police department, while the second asks voters if elections should be held in November instead of in May. The police issue has been contentious in the city as residents have opposed moves made by the city commission. All three incumbent commissioners are expected to run in the May, 2011 election along with a large slate of other candidates.
