A major project to improve Bayshore Road in the Villas section of Lower Township begins this week. Cape May County Engineer Dale Foster announced that the Bayshore Road resurfacing project between Weber and Miami Avenues in the Villas begins this week. The initial work includes the modifications to the existing stormwater drainage systems. That work will be conducted by South State, Inc. of Bridgeton. Concrete work is expected to begin in the middle of March. The actual roadwork will commence shortly after April 1st.
